Cecilia first started practicing Yoga 5 years ago, at a stressful
time in her life, while completing her PhD in tropical medicine
and preparing for a wedding. She initially approached Yoga with
the aim of getting fit .... but as soon as she started, she
realised that the benefits went far beyond toning muscles. The
deep sense of relaxation and peace that came from her yoga practice
had her hooked immediately and she began to take a keen interest
in learning more. When Cecilia and her husband moved to Hong
Kong 2 years ago, she embarked upon a Yoga teacher training course
to help her deepen her practice and understand more about the
Yoga philosophy. The course, along with her day-to-day practice
have helped Cecilia open her mind and get in touch with aspects
of herself that go beyond her physical body. |
