Mindy grew up watching her dad do headstands and cobras on a daily basis, which may have subconsciously ignited her passion for Yoga and all-round well-being. She practiced Martial Arts seriously during her college and University years in the UK and then explored various forms of Yoga when she arrived in Hong Kong in 1997 to begin her career in Television and Entertainment. When she discovered Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, she knew instantly that she wanted to share her learning with others. She completed her first teacher training course in Kryoga in 2002 and has been teaching private Yoga lessons to businessmen and women, mothers, families, children and pre- and post-natal women ever since. She founded Yoga For Life in July 2007, after organizing a charity trip to Kenya - Africa, where she taught Yoga to underprivileged children and teenagers. With Yoga For Life, she intends to further her charity work, traveling with her team of teachers to developing countries, sharing knowledge of Yoga with those less fortunate than herself. Mindy claims that Yoga had changed her life in such inexplicable ways and that Yoga is what keeps her sane in an insane world.
